Poulias Ioannis SMPL company having the experience of more than twenty years, is now able to offer special pest control services to modern food production industries. Besides pest control services, our company offers specialized services of parasites identification, studies for the suitability of buildings and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) for the maximum protection from pests, and staff training services concerning the safe food production practices.

Parasites Identifications

Our company has developed a pest identification department, head of which is a qualified scientist, Agronomist with master in Entomology.

She can, macroscopically and using a stereoscope, check samples and findings, electronically photographs them and determines the biological cycle of the parasite.

Furthermore, she documents the reasons for the finding in the sample and of course we provide safety precautions and further protection methods.


The effective protection from pests, requires the proper structure and function of the facility and the participation of employees in pest control procedures.

Our company conducts studies concerning:

  • The determination of the appropriate selection for a building.
  • The determination of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practice (GHP), proper storage etc.


Our company employs expertized scientists and technicians to perform surveys.

These procedures have been designed to identify potential problems with contamination from pests or to identify any wrong practices during the production, storage or transportation of food & beverages.

Our specialized scientist conducts a report for any legal use.

Staff Training

Poulias Ioannis SMPL company undertakes staff training of our clients, in general food safety & hygiene ad especially in the protection from parasites, their identification and in confronting them effectively.

This training aims to train staff in promptly recognizing any problem with parasites and to avoid practices and methods that pose a risk of contamination from insects and rodents.
